"The Elephant Diet" Day # 39 I Wish

Sometimes I wish for.......

  • unlimited resources to do what's in my heart for this project
  • a creative team to help me put together Kickstarter videos like this one or a funny one you can see here (but if I had unlimited resources I wouldn't need to do a Kickstarter project so we could do cool music videos instead or whatever we wanted)
  • a business manager to help me find the right venue for doing a christmas show
  • someone to look after all the details that go into doing a big show so I could concentrate on the music (ticket sales, lighting, props, stage decor)
  • an image consultant to pick out a wardrobe for me so I always look 'hip' (see unlimited resources wish)
  • hair and make up artist to bring out the best of me
  • more creative brain cells left at the end of the day when I need to be working instead of blogging about my wish list
  • a dog like the one I'm holding in the picture - then all would be well

  1. Know just what you are saying. Sometimes you have so many ideas running around in your head, you find it hard to catch up with them so you can actually figure out what to do with them. I was reminded today that the word of God says this in Psalms 37:

"The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].

24 Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him. "

Just thought I would pass this on to you. I saw the kickstarter project for the Marimba player and thought of David as this is his favorite instrument to play.

    Sharon Hock

    1. Thanks Sharon! I can see how David would like that video. I found it fascinating. Interesting that Marimba is his favorite instrument to play. Thank you for the verses. I often pray and tell the Lord that even as I make my plans, He is free to order my steps and I know that He will!

  2. You knew I would sucked in by the photo - o sneaky one.
We are bringing Nico (actual dog in photo) with us for this weekend.
Make sure you hold her and get your Nico-fix!
.... and I love the Marimba video.
okay, and the Shakespeare puppets made me laugh....

  3. I thought you might like it. : ) Yes - I too loved the marimba video - very fascinating and of course, the puppets made me laugh. Love the big orange guy......Facebook and twitter interaction. I watched it again with Tom just for a good laugh.

    Can't wait to see you!

  4. Great wish list! Since I'm not a performer, I never realized all the people involved in a performer's life. I hope all your wishes come true, Frances! :)

  5. There's no way a person can do this alone! : )
